This is an object replacement shot. For the project Warwick Davis (Willow, Leprechaun, Star Wars etc.) Plays a character named Plates in a movie directed by Gabe Bartalos called "Skinned Deep". Unfortunately, Mr. Plates gets his head pulled off. Take a look at the resulting footage.
This second sample is a more traditional wire removal shot. If you have difficulties seeing the images in these low resolution highly compressed files we would love to send you our reel so you will be able to see them better.
Often times production has to shoot at a time they do not want to portray and in areas that are less than perfect. In these situations we can lighten up the stock, darken the stock, and take some imperfections out. Take note of the speed bumps in this next movie.
Last but not least, blank weapons that emit muzzle flashes are expensive and often times restrive because their need for permits. We can add muzzle flashes in post easily.
